May the Fourth be with you

Ann Arbor Public Schools is running a Stars Wars camp this summer. I checked--it's just for children. I assume someone found her kid one day impersonating Queen Amidala's monotone and decided something had to be done, lest our next generation grow up thinking the human struggle between good and evil can be boiled down to trade disputes and an uncomfortable love affair. Star Wars camp is simply good parenting. The Sweet Juniper! guy knows what I'm talking about. His kids don't even need to go to camp.

The AAPS campers will make light sabers, reenact scenes from the movies and play trivia games.

And, in my imagination, they'll do some of this:

Happy Star Wars Day.

  1. It seems like a lot of money could be made with an adult Star Wars camp.
