I saw this in Grand Rapids yesterday. Can we get some of these in downtown and on campus? Without the seasonal bike racks, bike parking can be super limited. i.e. in front of ABC and Jolly pumpkin. Bike racks like these would provide great places for locking bikes and keeping them out of the rain.

ReplyDeleteA few of those were put up for Artprize. If more money was around they would have been used for bike sharing with a solar-powered credit card system.
