Happy birthday to us!

Today is the second anniversary of Damn Arbor's launch. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been part of this wonderful journey with us: our regular authors; those of you who have on occasion contributed an article; and most importantly of all, you gentle readers. I am glad that Damn Arbor is a source of entertainment and (occasional) news for you. Thank you.

You may have noticed that we have added ads to the site. Our executive committee decided it was an appropriate time to sell out. We will be using the heaps of cash we earn from advertising to pay our authors and, hopefully fill a kids pool with coins so that we can swim in it like Scrooge McDuck. We would be happy to run ads for local businesses, so if you think you or your business would like to advertise with us, please drop us a line. Finally, if you are sitting on a heaping campaign war chest and looking to burn some cash before next Tuesday's election, let us know, and we can work something out.

In conclusion, thank you for reading this blog and sorry if the ads look tacky.

  1. Congrats! My next post will by my 100th! I am pretty proud of that. I love reading your blog - you are a terrific writer and really seem to have your finger on the pulse of Ann Arbor - keep up the good work and monetizing your site is a *good* thing!

  3. Yay! Congrats! The fact that you mentioned Lester Graham's soul patch the other day should earn you another "best blog" award :)

  4. Regarding ads. There's this ad for T-shirts that appeared on the site first time I visited, which can be used to cross check this page on ArborWiki.
