Average commute time in Ann Arbor below national average

According to this cool interactive map from WNYC, average commute time for people living in Ann Arbor ranges from about 11-24 minutes, depending on where you live. This is below the national average of 25.4 minutes. Not too shabby. It would be interesting to have this coded in terms of commute times by mode of travel. Gentle reader, how does your commute stack up?

  3. We might be less than the national average, but that doesn't mean it is not a frustrating commute. My commute through town consists of dodging potholes, construction zones, clueless drivers, and - worst - the poorest traffic signal timing ANYWHERE. The commute is 2-3X what it could be.
