Vivat Veritas album release party tonight at Woodruff's

In the Latin, "Vivat veritas!" translates to "Long live the truth!" If you omit the exclamation point, Google Translate says it just means "Living reality." Regardless of it's Latin meaning, Vivat Veritas is also the name of Match by Match's latest EP. The album is pretty darn good. In a somewhat new musical direction, the album represents a definite shift towards the power pop for Match by Match. But don't worry MxM fans, you'll still find the band's trademark layered vocals and complex harmonies that you've come to love. But you don't have to take my word for it:

I dare say, it's a bit edgier than MxM's previous offerings. I like it a lot. If you like it too, you should totally come out to Woodruff's tonight for the Vivat Veritas release party. Doors are at 9 and cover is just $5. The Finer things are playing there too!
