'Jig Saw' opens tonight at Riverside Arts Center

"Jig Saw" opens tonight at Riverside Arts Center. Written in 1934 by Dawn Powell and produced locally by Petie the Dog Productions, "Jig Saw" is the story of Clair Burnell, a charming but bored divorcee in New York City. A romantic tangle involves potential interest Nathan Gifford, Claire's own daughter Julie, Claire's boyfriend Del, and a peanut-gallery cast of characters in Claire's apartment building.

Thursdays are pay-what-you-can. The show plays December 5-7 and 12-15 at 8 p.m., and there is a 2 p.m. production on Sunday, December 8, with special guests Tim Page, Powell's biographer, and Carol Warstler, Powell's niece.
