Gentle readers, tonight we are treated to a special Tuesday-edition of #a2Council. Here's the agenda.
The night kicks off with a modest, 9-item consent agenda. CA-1 and CA-2 are street closures for Tech Talk and the Ann Arbor Marathon, respectively.
There are 4 public hearings on the docket this evening. PH-1/B-1 is for the second reading of the Tenants Rights to Organize Ordinance. Glad to see this moving forward. PH-2/DS-1, is for rate increases for Fire Department Ambulance Transport Fees for Advanced Life Support.
PH-3/DS-2 is a resolution to approve an amendment to the brownfield agreement for the Village of Ann Arbor. This is the large project at 1710 Dhu Varren. PH-4/DS-3 is for an amendment to the brownfield plan for the AC Hotel at 300-312 E Huron.
There are two ordinance first readings on the agenda tonight. C-1 is for the Woodbury rezoning. This would change the zoning for the 41 acres from R3 to R4 and some public land to TC-1. In general, happy to see this moving forward.
C-2 is an ordinance to amend the rates schedule associated with the Sustainable Energy Utility.
On to the remainder of the resolutions. DS-4 is a resolution to allocate proceeds from the sale of the Kline's lot and to establish a property acquisition fund. DC-1 is a resolution to appoint commissioners to the IPOC. DC-2 is a resolution to appoint Councilmember Cornell to the LDFA. DC-3 is a resolution to directing the Administrator to develop a proposal for a deer management program.
