Ann Arbor Chronicle contributor, David Erik Nelson's article on meeting Dana's old chem lab partner/Miss America 2014, Nina Davuluri, is the best thing on the local web-o-sphere today. It's a little gonzo (in a good way), but I learned a lot about the history and mechanics of the Miss America Pageant. Somewhere in the article, there's also a critique of other regional outlets, and possibly this year's greatest selfie.
