The abrupt announcement from
Performance Network that they would be suspending operations last week came as a shock to us. If you're interested in the future of local professional theater in Ann Arbor, a group called
Theater Nova is hosting a meeting tonight at 7:00 at Hathaway's Hideaway tonight. The meeting has been organized by PNT's associate artistic director, Carla Milarch, who absolutely killed it as Richard III.
As I think I mentioned to you on Twitter, I loved that play (even though I don't understand Shakespeare). Somehow, they made me get it...and yes, the lead actress was beyond incredible.
