Strange New World

So, yes - I've basically become Damn Arbor's weatherman. But we've had such odd patterns over the last few days that I think we all need to talk about it.

New Year's Eve it hit 51 degrees, according to the Weather Underground (a great site for this sort of thing). As a result almost all the snow melted; even New Year's Day didn't end the weird patterns, as it hit 52 before cooling off down to the 20s at night. Right now it's a more seasonally appropriate 21 degrees. Happy New Year? Happy March is more like it.

  1. Did you know Weather Underground is based out of Ann Arbor?

  2. I didn't realize that, but given that one of the staff at the UMLS Publications Center recommended it to me it doesn't surprise me.
