These boots are made for SnowMIgeddon

Don't be fooled by their facade of color and whimsy: these boots were made for trekking to school on days like these. You can't see it here, but the soles are about an inch thick and the boots have handles, so you don't have to take off your mittens to pull them on. My feet didn't even realize it was cold out.

Purchased at the Birkenstock store on Fourth Avenue in Kerrytown. A Birkenstock store with a pride flag out front? Why, I never.

  2. Yeah @anonymous, but it also contains a link to the store where you can buy them locally. Which as it turns out, is having a 40-60% off sale on said boots.

  3. Hey Damn Arbor- I picked up a pair of boots at 4th Ave Birkenstock today. I then hiked to North Main where I work. Nice boots, similar to the ones shown in the photo only black. Very comfortable!

  4. I hope you love your boots as much as I love mine! Would that I had your self control when confronted with all the pretty colors...
