The trouble with doing things ironically--wearing sweater vests, watching "Grey's Anatomy," attending Renaissance festivals--is that, after doing them three or four times, you're just another woman in a silk-screen Yorkie sweatshirt munching on a soft pretzel and vocally rooting against a self-righteous French poodle in the contest for "Best in Show."
I'll be at Cobo Hall this Saturday for the Detroit Kennel Club Dog Show. I like to find dogs that look like people I know, as pictured above.
That's an exceptionally well-matched outfit you are wearing.
