A. Alfred Taubman donates 56 million to medical research at Michigan



As if his name on the hospital and the medical library wasn't enough, Mr. Taubman made his largest donation ever to the university. His recent donations have gone to fund high risk, high reward projects such as stem cell therapies and other translational research that merges the gap between bench research and clinical therapies. His donations helped make the medical school the respected clinical and research center it is today. His name will now be added to the Biomedical Science Research Building (BSRB/Building with Metal Pringle stack in front of it). So now I work in the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building (AATBSRB).
