I was on the top floor of the new CS Mott Children's Hospital last week, and it was fairly easy to see the landscape of Ann Arbor. I tried searching for a good topographical map of the area, and this was the most interesting.
Now I get why the homeowners who live immediately South / SW of Argo Pond, on N. First St. etc. are required by law to have flood insurance. And why Water Hill is called Water Hill: it's where you go for higher ground when the water comes.
I like that gloomy black spot hovering just south of Plymouth Rd.

ReplyDeleteIs everyone at D.A. named Connor? Was it that popular in the 1980 - 1990s?
ReplyDelete"Connor" is BCB's mom's last name, he just had hippie parents. Also I don't think any of us were born in the 90s... or at least I hope not.
ReplyDeleteAll new contributors to Damn Arbor must have at least one of my names in their name.
