LED Streetlights

Looks like Ann Arbor is moving forward environmentally; these new LED streetlights are pretty bright. I saw this one (and more) on Washington between Main and Division. They're requesting comments at streetlights@ci.ann-arbor.mi.us.
I'm wondering what the roll-out plan is, so if you see more, let me know.

    I think the "test" LED streetligts have been in Ann Arbor for a few years now. I'm not sure if/when they plan to deploy more. Perhaps as old streetlights need replacing. Personally I'm a big fan of LED streetlights over the old HPS ones.

    Yes, I think I remember seeing that "test" when I moved to A2 four years ago.

    LED lights is more brighter than the other kind of street lights I've ever seen.
