Spooky prototype cars

I've been noticing a lot more spooky prototype cars driving around Ann Arbor lately. I saw a convoy of three white cars on Maple earlier this week with all of their brand marks covered up. Well I should say most of their brand marks covered up: the Buick logo on the wheels was still visible. Is this a sign of the auto industry improving, or am I just noticing these prototype cars more?

  1. Not sure about AA, but I see these in Dearborn all the time.

  2. They're just doing it for the publicity, you know, something which the new lincoln town car should have done more.

  3. Of course it will always be for publicity when you see cars like that on the street. We probably all have run some used car dealers long island but cars that have this decals and design are pretty special.

  4. You gottta hand it to those car makers. They're really getting creative as far as marketing their new models are concerned. Still, I'd be creeped out if I see a bunch of unmarked vehicles roaming my neighborhood.

  5. Talk about "stealth" marketing for these car makers, huh. I just hope all that promotion and visibility still permeates in the after-market section; these days you can't afford to get a car that's just for show, what with all the extra cash you have to shelve just to keep it running.

  6. How intriguing! Your observation of spooky prototype cars cruising around Ann Arbor adds an air of mystery to the streets. The clandestine nature of these vehicles, with brand marks strategically covered (except for the Buick logo), sparks curiosity about what cutting-edge innovations might be hiding beneath the disguise.
