How come nobody told me that Washtenaw County had a new monthly magazine? Is it a local trend to start new print publications while other communities are losing papers?
It's been publishing for a year now. Our first issue was last June and we (the Pakmode team, publishers of emYOU! The Magazine) teamed up with the Ypsilanti Citizen folks to create this monthly. Since then, Pakmode has retained ownership of the project and in January we expanded to Washtenaw County to cover more than just Ypsi events and entertainment. We love print and want to keep it alive! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime.
Ypsi backwards.
ReplyDeleteif I remember right, iSPY emerged from the online daily Ypsilanti Citizen (2008-2010) and this tells a part of that story

Dan DuChene and Christine Laughren are the people.
Thanks for the links Ed.
ReplyDeleteIt's "losing" not "loosing."
