Michigan apple

From the New Yorker article on the invention of SweeTango, a new brand of apple:
Bedford (the inventor of SweeTango) attended Wheaton College in Illinois, where, as a biology major, he became interested in plant breeding, and where he tasted a really good apple for the first time. Another student had brought a bushel back from Michigan. "I said, 'Oh, my gosh, this is what I've been missing.' It was the beginning of my awakening."
We can all be thankful on this holiday to be eating Michigan food. Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. We bought a bag of these this season. They were expensive, but totally worth it. Believe the hype.
