In retrospect, the tone of the post was probably overly snarky. I should have said that I feel like the Green Party addresses some really important issues. I worry though when they boil down their politics into a short slogan and a pot leaf, it makes it could make it easier for their opponents to continue to marginalize them.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Green Party has enough of an organized local presence in Washtenaw County at this point to do this kind of flyering... I think your other guess may be more likely.
