Naming the storm

Before the snow starts falling, it's important that we know what to call the snow storm of 2011. Suggestions include Snowpocalypse 2011, SnowMIgeddon, and Snowtorious B.I.G. Gentle readers, it is up to you to decide. Vote for your favorite name in the poll on the right, or add your own name in the comments.

  1. I like "Groundhog's Revenge" myself for a storm name

  5. I dislike the end-time implications of the first two options, especially given that this will not even the worst blizzard Michigan has ever faced. However, it is notorious (as evidenced by your repeated, forewarning blog posts) and big (as it is a blizzard). Ergo, Snowtorious B.I.G. is the obvious choice. If it doesn't win, I demand you build a giant snowman in your front yard with a cabbie hat, a cigar and a goblet of champagne and dub him the Snowtorious B.I.G.

"Throw your gloves in the air if you'se a true sleigher!"

  6. I still don't think we're getting more than 5 or 6 inches, so I think it should be called: "snO RLY?"
