Poutine Michigan

Apparently "Michigan Style" poutine involves replacing the more traditional gravy with bolognese. Who knew.

  1. In some places in Quebec (notably Lafleur's Restaurants, a popular Montreal hotdog/French fry chain) a "Michigan" is a hotdog with meatsauce/bolognese sauce on it. Kind of like a chili dog....

  2. Oh wow, I just realized, the poster is probably from Quebec in the first place. Obvious comment is obvious....

  3. The local equivalent of that would be a chili size, if I have my "greasy diner food I am too old to eat" lingo right.
