Milk Carton Kids at the Ark tonight

Looking for some pleasant vocal harmonies or soothing acoustic guitar to gently bring you down from last night's sugar high? Well if you are, you're in luck! Folk-pop duo, The Milk Carton Kids, are playing at the Ark tonight. Hot off a very successful NPR Tiny Desk Concert, TMCK are finishing up a whirl-wind tour of the States before going on tour with the Punch Brothers next year. I really like their sound, but you don't have to take my word for it. You can download TMCK's first two albums for free on their website. Pretty cool. They also have a song called Michigan (see video above). Very cool. Check out the music and make a decision for yourself. Doors open at 7:30 for this 8:00 pm show. Tickets are $15 and $22 plus a $3 service fee if you buy them online. From the sound of things, it might cost a lot more to see TMCK in the future.
