It's beginning to look a lot like ...

Sorry for the terrible picture. Looks like U of M is going whole hog wrapping the Central Campus trees in Christmas/festive winter lights this year. I don't really remember them doing anything like this in the past. I wonder what's behind the change?

  1. This is how they're spending the expected surplus from centralizing HR!

  2. It's part of their Victors challenge launch or whatever...to fundraise you need trees covered in lights!

  3. Do you know if they will leave them up after the Victors Challenge thing? I hope they do.

  4. In that picture, it's beginning to look a lot like beautiful Michigan autumn. Tree lights unnecessary.

  5. I might have to meander over to Ann Arbor for some picture takin'. Sadly I lost my Ann Arbor Entrance Visa a couple weeks ago. I hope they wont notice I'm from Ypsi.

    1. I'll just cross at Geddes. The entry booth is a little less restrictive there. Now the one on Washtenaw....blah....:)

  7. Yup, it's for tomorrow night's big campaign launch festival, from 5:00-7:30pm tomorrow night (Friday, 11/8) on Ingalls Mall. Hot dogs, face painting, musical performances by students, the works. All are welcome.
