New Beat Happening is bringing Rogue Wave to campus. I don't really understand the organization but I believe that they get money to bring musicians to come hang out and stuff. Then they generate revenue, etc. and the university is happy. Past acts include Atlas Sound and Lupe Fiasco. This year, this friday, they are bringing needed sounds to the Michigan League. I don't know how Rogue Wave translates to a live show, but their single above "Lake Michigan" is pretty catchy. You can buy tickets to see them here.
